The 4.6 km long path without big differences in altitude starts in Vaňov, where you can get directly from the centre of Ústí nad Labem.
Above Vaňov you can also visit one of the highest waterfalls in the Bohemian Central Highlands. It is located on the Podlešínský brook and is formed by two basalt steps whose combined height is an impressive 26 m.
During your walk, you will find approximately 20 animals and fairy-tale creatures (e.g. Rumcajs, Manka and Cipísk, Neptune, a monk, Madonna, a waterman, a water mill, a fox, a dog, a bear, a puma, a badger, a mole, etc.).
To get there, take bus number 15 from the Divadlo bus stop (located in front of the former bus station) and get off at the Hřbitov bus stop. Then turn under the viaduct (on the right) and after the viaduct continue left along the green tourist sign in the direction of Dolní Zálezly. Immediately after entering the forest, there are several fairy tale characters located along the trail.
