Gallery of Modern Art - Roudnice nad Labem

The Gallery of Modern Art is housed in the former riders hall of the Lobkowicz Castle in Roudnice nad Labem, which was built in the last quarter of the 17th century.

The gallery's collection of sixty paintings by Antonín Slavíček - which was part of the generous gift of patron August Švagrovský - from the beginning of the 20th century, can be considered the "family silver" of the gallery. The fine art collection contains more than 3,000 works of art from the end of the 19th century to the present. The permanent exhibition presents an overview of the development of fine arts in the 20th and 21st centuries.
