Destinations of the Bohemian Central Highlands have enjoyed great interest among visitors in recent years and this fair was no different. Visitors were interested in new possibilities and a variety of tourist destinations. The most frequent questions concerned the mythical Mount Říp, tourist boat lines, the town of Litoměřice or the Terezín fortress. There was also interest in climbing the peaks of the Bohemian Central Highlands - Milešovka or Lovoš. The Elbe Trail, which was presented in new tourist materials, was of great interest. These were created thanks to the project Tourism with a view and visitors could also get a free large-format cycling map of this cycle route. A tempting bonus was the opportunity to taste wines from the Bohemian Central Highlands for free with an invitation to selected wine events.
The Elbe Trail then took centre stage at the Ústí nad Labem Region's stand on Friday 22 February, when the launch of the 2019 Elbe Trail Cycling Guide took place. It documents its entire route from its source in the Giant Mountains to the mouth of the Elbe River in the North Sea in the German town of Cuxhaven. The guide thus offers complete information for the 1,300 km long cycling holiday.
