This year's theme is "RITUALS"
Since its foundation in 2000, the Litoměřice Film Festival has become a significant and traditional event with a wide territorial and audience reach.
It fills the gap between large competitive festivals, thematic and national shows or seminars. It is a unique project that offers audiences a non-competitive film programme combining proven titles screened from 35 mm film stock with bold formal approaches to current world festival productions and films that cannot be seen elsewhere, e.g. with live musical accompaniment.
The aim is to cultivate in the audience the desire to see these films on big screens or in alternative spaces and to be part of the cultural scene. The Litoměřice Film Festival is the only film festival of this format in the Ústí nad Labem region.
