Monastery wine cellars - Litomerice

The history of winemaking in Litoměřice is truly rich, beginning in 1057, when the monastery began to produce wine.

Church production in the monastery ended after World War II, when wine was produced from the burgher vineyards - small areas owned by several people. Between 1950 and 1990, a state-owned company operated here. Until recently, mass wine was also produced here under the permission of the regional bishop. After EU accession, only the Bishops' Conference, which has chosen another winery, can issue permits. An interesting feature is the production of the trademark wine Radobýl, named after a nearby hill.

We are engaged in the production and sale of varietal wines with the possibility of tasting. We offer wines Tramín, Muller Thurgau, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, Riesling, Blue Portugal, Pinot Noir, Cuvée rosé and others.

The flagship of the winery - Müller Thurgau, Riesling, Tramin Red, Pinot Noir.

The wines can be purchased in the Wine Cellar at Mírové náměstí 10/2 Litoměřice.
