Program
Ademonstration of the operation of a steam locomotive that was used to power agricultural machinery.
Together with the children from the Střekov Children's Home, we bake for you all day in the tiled stove in the house from Loubí, cabbage is cut and stuffed into a cabbage pot. The cabbage is prepared according to an old recipe of the original German-speaking inhabitants who added juniper to the cabbage.
The fruit from the museum's orchard is pressed into cider, which can be tasted. In addition to the work, children's visitors in particular can enjoy a number of long-forgotten games that their grandparents used to play in their free time.
Supplementary programme
There will also be three concurrent exhibitions:
- Prints by Martin Raudensky in the House of Loubí
- Prayers by painter Martin Krulis in the Church of Mary Magdalene
- The unforgettable art exhibition The Tinker in the Village or There's a Mouse in the Chamber will appeal to everyone.
There is no admission fee for this event, only guided tours are charged, which take place at set times throughout the day and it is of course possible to arrive by rail.
