The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary and the Monastery of St. Augustine - Roudnice nad Labem

The monastery complex consists of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary and the building of its own convent, of which three wings of the cloister around the Garden of Eden yard, the chapter hall and the area of the former library all have been preserved. The church has the form of a basilica triple nave with a long choir. In the first half of the 18th century, there was a significant reconstruction in the style of the so-called Baroque Gothic. The vault of the main nave was lowered and the facade of the building was completed by two towers. When visiting Roudnice nad Labem, don't forget to go see this magnificent monument. Here, among other things, you can see the mysterious underground pond.

• The meeting of those interested in the tour is before entering the church in Komenského Street.
• Every Sunday in the monastery church a Mass is held from 9 am and from 6 pm by the Greek Catholic church, to which you are warmly invited.
• Outside opening hours, it is possible to visit the monastery by prior arrangement.

The ticket offers a one-time entry into the rotunda of St. George and St. Vojtěch on Říp Mountain and to the Augustinian monastery in Roudnice nad Labem. The ticket is valid for 10 days.

Within the complex, a monastery club is open, when in season, with a selection of liqueurs from the Doksan monastery.
