Vincenc Zahradník's rectory - Zubrnice

In the picturesque village of Zubrnice, you can stay in the apartment Kvítnice in the building of Vincenc Zahradník's rectory.

House No. 39 - a former classicist rectory with a rich history offers accommodation in an apartment in the picturesque village of Zubrnice. In the years 1820-1830, Vincenc Zahradník worked here - a parish priest, philosopher and writer, an interesting and kind man, whose name is also borne by our association, which was founded to support his legacy - the Vincenc Zahradník Centre z. s. The house has been sensitively reconstructed in the past ten years under the supervision of conservationists.

The apartment at the rectory is called Kvítnice, which is the Garden of Eden from a fable by Vincent the Gardener. The accommodation with the possibility to have breakfast and read on the doorstep is for two persons. The whole interior is simply and tastefully furnished with respect for the history of the building. The bathroom, which is part of the apartment, is located in the oldest part of the building. The tiling in the living room is an imitation of 19th century tiles. The apartment in the open-air museum and with a story has a separate entrance.

You can find out more about Vincent the Gardener from our books (available in the apartment), if you are interested in him, we will be happy to tell you more in other areas of the rectory.

Price per night for 2 persons is 1200 CZK without breakfast including the municipality fee.
