Why a regional brand

The aim of the regional brand is to exploit the potential of local producers, to make the region more attractive and visible, to highlight the interesting products, services and experiences that are created here and to support local producers in the long term.

There are currently 27 regions in the Czech Republic, each of which supports dozens of certified producers. For a complete overview of regional labels in the Czech Republic, visit the website - www.regionalni-znacky.cz.

Who is awarded the regional label?

• Food and agricultural products - e.g. milk, cheese, meat, fish, baked goods, cereals, fruit, vegetables, wine, beverages (juices and ciders), honey, etc.
• Handicrafts and works of art - e.g. wood, stone, slate, ceramics, glass or paper, straw ornaments, lace, jewellery, souvenirs, postcards, etc.
• Natural products - e.g. berries, medicinal herbs, teas, plant extracts for cosmetic purposes, compost, mineral water, etc.
• Services - accommodation and catering facilities
• Experiences - e.g. events, workshops, special seminars, etc.
