Water World - Úštěk

The fabulous exhibition of freshwater fish of Czech waters, accompanied by the story of a classic Czech waterman, located in the basement of the Úštěk cultural centre, will attract both young and old visitors.

The basement of the Úštěk cultural centre, which had previously served as a warehouse, was transformed into the Water World. The fairy-tale exhibition of freshwater Czech fish connected with the water world tells a story of a good Czech waterman. There are not only "basic" Czech fish such as carp, pike and catfish, but also small ones that are less well known and are hardly seen anymore. The fish and the stones with sand are from the Třeboň region and its surroundings.

It is always open on the town fairs - carnival, Easter, summer in August, autumn in October and Christmas with extended hours from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Normally open from April to September on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 am to 4 pm, also open on Mondays in July and August.

Outside opening hours, tours can be arranged by telephone for groups of 15 or more people.
