The event takes place every year on the second Saturday in June, since 2013. Preparations and the is a matter of close cooperation between the local Roudnice winery and Říp o.p.s.
The goal of the event and a uniqueness experience
It is about the promotion and presentation of wineries, small wineries and winemakers exclusively in the Czech Republic. Before the event itself, a seminar and meeting of participating winemakers takes place with a goal of exchange of experience in growing and producing wine in the Czech wine-growing sub-regions.
As part of the tasting, each visitor has the opportunity to taste wines from the entire wine-growing region of Bohemia, get to know the winemaker directly, buy the wines on display in a bottle. Than they have the opportunity to give one vote to the winemaker who has interested them the most. Based on a public vote, the winemaker of the event is announced. All visitors will receive a catalog in which all contacts of the participating winemakers with their brief description are listed.
Since 2016, a presentation of regional producers and craftsmen of the Ústí Region has been taking place in the courtyard at the same time.
