Bicycle tour around Lake Piscatawpine

The short trip around Lake Píšt'any is also suitable for less fit cyclists or for families with children. The length of the trip is about 17 km and practically the whole route is on flat ground. Go for the beautiful views of the Žernosecká vineyards or the Píšt'anské jezero, where you can also swim in the summer.

You will start your leisurely trip along the Elbe Trail in Litoměřice. Cycle route No. 2 - Labská trail will lead you after a few kilometres to Píšt'any, where you can swim in the Píšt'any lake or have a snack in the restaurant in the local Marina. The ferry will take you from Píšt'any to Lovosice, where you can visit the new lookout point U Zámečku right by the Elbe. The alternative route of the Elbe Trail 2A will then lead you along the Elbe River to another ferry in Malé Žernosky. Thanks to this boat connection, you can get back on the main route of the Elbe Trail to Velké Žernosky, where you can make a small detour to the village and buy liquid souvenirs in the form of Žernosec wines. There are several wineries in Velké Žernosky (e.g. Žernosecké vinařství s.r.o., Víno Hrabkovský, Family winery Mikulenkovi or Vinařství Porta Bohemica). From Velke Žernosky you can drive back to Litoměřice upstream. End your relaxing trip in a relaxed café called Káva s párou, located just a few metres from the Elbe Trail. If you like the area around Lake Píšt'any, you can also stay here. Accommodation can be arranged at the Marina in Píšt'any, at the adjacent campsite or at the beautiful Hotel Lev in Lovosice.

However, Litoměřice is not only a city rich in history, but also a city alive with culture and sport.
