Due to the location of the Litoměřice and Mělník wine sub-region, the Polabská Trail was created to connect the possibilities of tourism attractions.

Polabské trails for wine and knowledge connects two wine sub-regions of Bohemia

It is a link between the Litoměřice wine sub-region and the Mělník wine sub-region and their most important tourist destinations and wine-growing localities. The route starts in Roudnice nad Labem and continues through Kyškovice, Hoštka, Štětí and Liběchov to Mělník. There are several information boards along the route, which provide visitors with information about attractive tourist destinations near the route. While travelling along this trail, it is possible to visit several wineries and taste wines from both wine sub-regions of Bohemia.

Lobkowicz Winery Mělník

Winemaking in Mělník dates back to the 10th century.

The Lobkowicz Winery in Mělník is a producer of quality wine from its own grapes, continuing the centuries-old tradition of winemaking in Mělník, and with its 45 hectares it is the largest producer in the town - it produces 100,000 litres, representing 120,000 bottles.

Varieties of wines: Müller Thurghau, Muscat of Moravia, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Tramin Red, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir, Blue Portugal, St. Specialities and specialities of the winery are sparkling wines produced by the classical method of fermentation in bottles, grape seed oil, Verjus - a natural flavouring produced by pressing unripe grapes, spirits from different wine varieties, grape jelly.

The winery organizes tastings without the need for an appointment, with a minimum of 10 people. The maximum capacity is 40 people. Other services of the winery include the rental of garden party rooms for up to 80 people or the rental of a lounge with a capacity of 30 people.
