HistoryPark is an archaeopark and entertainment area for schools and the general public. The whole programme of the site is based on a unique experience enriched with knowledge. This trend is gradually being fulfilled due to the increasing number of visitors.

During the programs, all groups of visitors learn about archaeology and the discovery of our past in a fun way, experience what the most familiar part of archaeological work entails, and why it is beneficial to society.

All the programme takes place in the grounds of the historic farmhouse and the adjoining grounds with an unforgettable view of Mount Říp.

The team consists of experienced archaeologists and enthusiastic lecturers who will be happy to guide you through the entire programme.

As part of our programs for the public as well as educational trips and excursions for kindergartens and schools, you can try:

Uncovering finds in the field
Making prehistoric tools or vessels
Working with a metal detector
Simulation on an interactive sandbox

A tailor-made programme is prepared for each group. In summer, attractive camps are held in the area.

We will also introduce you to the history of the immediate surroundings of Mount Říp, the settlement of the landscape from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages and archaeological findings from the near and distant surroundings.

The area is open all year round on weekdays for groups of children and pupils from schools, kindergartens and educational institutions. In the high season - from May to October - it is open to the public on weekends, public holidays and holidays.

Part of the park is the Bistro U Mamuta, and during the year there are two large accompanying events: the Ledčický šíp and the Historical Craft Fair.
