Carpentry courses

Jan Marek's carpentry courses are held privately in the house No. 15 in Merboltice, Verneřice.

Jan Marek's carpentry courses are held privately in the house No. 15 in Merboltice, Verneřice.

Their uniqueness lies in their personal approach and the use of quality hand tools such as chisels, planes, Japanese saws. The courses focus on the production of the traditional joint, which is considered the pinnacle of joinery skill.

During the course, participants will learn the hand technique of traditional woodworking, it is designed for beginners and advanced students.

The atmosphere and the experience is added to the courses by the stay in a traditional log cabin in the protected village of Merboltice. The capacity of the courses is 6 people to allow for the greatest possible personal attention for each participant.

Courses are held twice a month except during holidays or Christmas.
