The local countryside offers not only a variety of hiking trails and sightseeing trips, but also the experience of visiting local producers and producers.

What does traditional craftsmanship look like, how are handmade products made, what does local food taste and smell like?

You will learn all this on the culinary Journey of Tastes and Flavours of the Czech Central Highlands.

Head to the workshops and shops of regional producers. Most of them are just a knock away, some are better to call ahead. Experience the local atmosphere for yourself!

Honey and honey products from Lovečkovice

Multi-species, tasty and high quality honey from the Bohemian Central Highlands.

Honey

It offers flower, paste, lime, honeydew, flavoured honey with freeze-dried fruits (raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, rosehips, ginger or cinnamon). Honey is sold in 680 or 950 g jars.

Flavoured paste honeys

They are made from first-flower honey, with high quality freeze-dried fruit or cinnamon mixed in. This creates a unique product that can be used to make a healthy breakfast, flavour drinks, or just munch on from a jar. The product is especially popular with children. The flavoured honeys are available in 325 g jars.

Mead

It is produced in a natural way, without the use of flavours and other flavourings. Mead is aged for at least one and a half years. It is offered in half-litre bottles. It is an excellent, honest product. It is available in herbal, lavender, elderflower and cinnamon varieties.

Nuts in honey

Walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, steam pickled in our own honey. As the name suggests, these are different types of nuts that are pickled in honey. The nuts are left in the honey for at least one month to keep them soft and supple. The jars weigh 340-370 g.
