Follow the monuments of Roundice nad Labem
You can follow the monuments of Roudnice along a special roundtrip with a number of stops at selected monuments. The starting point is a signpost at the Roudnice castle.

Gallery of modern art
The Gallery of Modern Art is housed in the former riders hall of the Lobkowicz Castle in Roudnice nad Labem, which was built in the last quarter of the 17th century by a Italian architect Antonio Porto.
The entrance to the gallery is decorated with a portal from the former Porto´s House, which stood on the square. It is dominated by his symbol - a pierced heart and three flowers. The vaulted interior of the Baroque building, reconstructed for the purposes of the gallery in the 1960s, created an impressive setting for the gallery's permanent collection. Its "family silver" can be considered a set of sixty paintings by Antonín Slavíček, which were part of the generous gift of danator August Švagrovský from the beginning of the 20th century. The fine art collection contains more than 3,000 works of art of the time period from the end of the 19th century to the present. The gallery's permanent exhibition presents a overview of the development of 20th and 21st century fine art. In addition, the gallery presents a varied program in the space for temporary exhibitions, showing various artistic tendencies, thematic or monographic exhibitions of all disciplines. It also organizes lectures, concerts, theater performances, leterature evenings and other cultural programs.
